Our Founder

Puujaa Goela is the Founding Director of Prayer Group of companies, engaged in the business of manufacturing high quality wet dhoop for the incense market undertaking third party manufacturing & packing operations for popular brands in this industry.

From a commerce background she branched out to Interior Designing and while looking for a place to park herself she met her uncle & mentor and a renowned perfumer Mr. K.Gopal Ratnam who introduced her to the incense world. With over 17 years of experience in the wet dhoop Industry the company was incorporated in the year 2005 with a high-tech unit having the best in class Plant & machinery, Raw material in house testing facilities, experienced and skilled workers which enabled her to produce customer benefit high quality standard products resulting in many quality centric awards.

Her company is the pioneer in setting up raw dhoop manufacturing for ITC brand Mangaldeep and recently they started similar operations for Cycle Agarbattis.

The company has created employment opportunities for close to 250 people, mostly women. People talk of women empowerment and as on date on the rolls of the company there are 89% women folk- all are uneducated, rural women but bread winners for their families.

Apart from being a successful entrepreneur, she’s a fitness & yoga enthusiast, loves spending quality time with family, pets and enjoys reading.
